Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has announced the entry test schedule for PhD, MPhil and MS admissions for the Autumn 2026 semester. The tests will begin on 24 August and continue until 28 August 2026.
According to the university’s official schedule, applicants seeking admission to programs offered by the Faculty of Education will take their entry test on 24 August 2026.
The entry test for programs under the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities will take place on 27 August. Meanwhile, the Faculty of Sciences will conduct its test on 28 August 2026.
All tests will begin at 9:00 AM. AIOU has allowed applicants to appear at any listed test centre according to their convenience. However, candidates must follow the date assigned to their respective faculty.
The university will conduct the tests at its Academic Complex on the main campus in H-8, Islamabad, and at its regional campuses in Multan, Quetta, Karachi, and Gilgit.
AIOU has clarified that only candidates who qualify for the PhD, MPhil or MS entry test will be called for an interview. The university will determine the final merit after completing the test and interview process.
