The University of Engineering and Technology Lahore has announced multiple teaching and other jobs for 2026.
UET has opened vacancies at its Main Campus Lahore and campuses in Kala Shah Kaku, Faisalabad, Narowal, and RCET Gujranwala. Applicants must have a Punjab domicile.
The university is hiring Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Lecturers, Teaching Fellows, and a Horticulturist.
Available Jobs
Professor positions are available in Mining Engineering and Computer Science. UET has announced Associate Professor jobs in several fields. These include Architecture, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, and other disciplines.
Assistant Professor positions are available in areas such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Biomedical Engineering, and City and Regional Planning.
Lecturer jobs are available in Information Technology, Business Administration, Environmental Engineering, Geological Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and AI-related fields. The university has also announced several Teaching Fellow positions.
Teaching Fellows are required in Business and Information Technology, Computer Science, English, Mathematics, Communication Skills, Physics, and Food Science and Technology. Selected Teaching Fellows will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 75,000.
UET has also announced one Horticulturist position at its Narowal Campus. The selected candidate will receive Rs. 157,500 per month. The age limit for the Horticulturist post is 21 to 45 years.
Qualification Requirements
Faculty applicants must meet the eligibility criteria set by the Higher Education Commission.
Candidates applying for engineering disciplines must also have valid registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council.
Teaching Fellow applicants need an 18-year Master’s or MPhil degree in the relevant subject. They must also meet the required academic performance criteria.
How to Apply
Candidates must first complete the application through the UET Lahore online job portal. Applicants must upload a passport-size photograph. They must then print and sign the completed application.
Candidates must attach a Rs. 2,000 postal order or bank deposit slip with the printed application. They must also attach the required documents.
Teaching Fellow applications must reach the concerned department or campus. Applications for Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, Lecturer, and Horticulturist positions must reach the Registrar’s Office, UET Lahore.
The university will not accept incomplete or late applications. The last date to apply is 31 August 2026.
