Punjab Launches Action Against Schools With 0% Class 9th Results

Punjab’s School Education Department has decided to take departmental action against the heads of government schools that recorded zero percent results.

The department has also sought detailed information on schools across the province that delivered zero percent results.

In the Rawalpindi Board’s ninth-grade annual examinations, 184 schools recorded zero percent results, including 81 government schools.

Among them, 91 schools were from Rawalpindi, 35 from Attock and 26 from Chakwal.

The list also includes 24 schools from Jhelum, 10 from Murree and 8 from Talagang.

Sources said the heads of schools with zero percent results will be issued show-cause notices and may face departmental action.

Officials will also identify institutions and responsible officers who have shown continuous poor academic performance.

According to sources, departmental action will be taken against school heads held responsible for weak educational results.
