Punjab Announces Milad Celebrations in All Public and Private Schools

The Punjab government has announced that Milad gatherings will be held in all public and private schools across the province on 11th Rabi-ul-Awwal as part of special arrangements for Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH).

These events will provide students and teachers with an opportunity to commemorate the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and learn more about his life, teachings, and message.

The Punjab Home Department has issued instructions to administrative and police officials across the province to ensure Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) is observed with religious devotion and respect.

According to the department, a Seerat Tayyaba symposium will also be organized to mark the occasion.

Special arrangements have also been announced for major Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) processions. Water stalls will be set up along major procession routes across Punjab.

Prominent buildings, banks, and government and private offices will be illuminated with green lights as part of the celebrations.

Special arrangements will also be made in Punjab’s prisons to mark the birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), with sweets to be distributed among inmates.

The Home Department has directed authorities to promote peace, tolerance, and mutual unity during Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrations.
