The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced 498 government vacancies under Advertisement No. 08/2026.
The recruitment drive covers jobs in several Punjab government departments, educational boards, the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team, the Punjab Food Authority, the Agriculture Department, the Transport Department, the Livestock Department, and other organisations.
The advertisement was published on August 18, 2026. Candidates can submit their online applications until September 3, 2026.
Major Vacancies Announced
One of the largest recruitments includes 92 Water Management Officer (BS-17) posts in the Water Management Wing of the Agriculture Department.
Applicants need a B.Sc. Agricultural Engineering or B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture after completing a four-year post-intermediate course. The posts include open merit, women, minority and special-person quotas.
The Punjab Provincial Transport Authority has also announced 82 Transport Sub Inspector (BS-14) posts. Candidates need a second-division BA degree from a recognized university.
Another 34 posts for Motor Mobile Patrol Inspectors (BS-16) are available for law graduates. These jobs are open on an all-Punjab basis.
The Livestock and Dairy Development Department has advertised 27 Veterinary Officer (BS-17) vacancies. Applicants need a DVM degree and valid registration with the Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council.
Jobs in Punjab Education Boards
PPSC has announced several vacancies in Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
BISE Lahore has 24 Assistant (BS-16) posts, along with vacancies for Junior Computer Programmer, Senior Computer Operator, Security Officer, Estate Officer, Civil Engineer and Deputy Secretary/Deputy Controller of Examinations.
BISE Dera Ghazi Khan has announced five Assistant BS-16 posts, while BISE Faisalabad is hiring for Computer Programmer, Junior Computer Programmer, Deputy Secretary/Deputy Controller and Assistant Secretary/Assistant Controller positions.
CMIT Jobs With Salaries Up to Rs. 115,000
The Chief Minister’s Inspection Team (CMIT) has announced several contract jobs.
It is offering 22 Assistant Director Inspection (General) posts with a monthly package of Rs. 115,000. Candidates need a Master’s or BS Hons degree with 16 years of education.
CMIT has also announced 24 Office Assistant posts with a monthly package of Rs. 77,000.
Other CMIT vacancies include Assistant Director Inspection in Technical, Medical and Financial Matters, along with Law Officer posts. The Assistant Director and Law Officer positions carry a monthly package of Rs. 115,000.
Transport Department Announces More Jobs
The Punjab Provincial Transport Authority has also announced 25 Senior Transport Officer posts, three Deputy Director posts, and five Secretary District Regional Transport Authority posts.
Candidates can apply according to the qualification and experience requirements listed for each position.
