The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has directed all registered medical and dental doctors with inactive registrations or licenses to validate and renew their credentials within six months of the publication of its latest notice.
The PM&DC issued the directive under the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council Act, 2022, and the applicable regulations. The council advised doctors to complete the renewal process within the prescribed period to avoid regulatory action.
The PM&DC warned that doctors who fail to renew their registration for a continuous period of more than 10 years will have their names permanently removed from the council’s register.
The council urged all medical and dental practitioners with inactive registrations or licenses to complete the renewal process within the six month period. The PM&DC said the requirement would help maintain updated registration records and ensure compliance with its regulatory framework.
