Allied Bank Limited (PSX: ABL) customers across Pakistan are facing a widespread disruption in the bank’s mMyABL app, with users reporting failed transactions, login issues, and inaccessible customer support. The outage has affected customers nationwide.
According to information obtained by ProPakistani, Allied Bank is currently experiencing a technical outage that has disrupted multiple banking channels across the country. Sources said that customers are unable to sign in to its mobile banking app, while the bank’s UAN helpline and WhatsApp banking service are also down.
ProPakistani has contacted Allied Bank for comment and will update this story if and when the bank responds.
The disruption has left many customers unable to send or receive funds through digital channels. Even users who successfully logged into the myABL app encountered IBFT transfer failures. Transactions are returning an error message instead of being processed.
One of the error messages displayed to affected users states: “Unable to process. Please ensure that you have entered the correct account/reference number and the account is active.”
Customers have also reported being unable to check their account balances through the bank’s WhatsApp banking service, further limiting access to essential banking functions.
The outage appears to have intensified over the weekend, with a growing number of customers posting complaints on X, claiming that both the mobile app and the bank’s helpline have remained unavailable. Several users alleged that customer support has been unreachable throughout the disruption.
One customer wrote that the online sign-in portal had been unavailable on both mobile and web for several days, questioning why the issue had not yet been resolved. Another user claimed the bank had remained without service for nearly 20 hours and urged it to restore operations as soon as possible.
Sources said that the disruption is affecting customers nationwide, preventing many from completing digital banking transactions or contacting the bank through official support channels.
At the time of publication, Allied Bank had not issued any public notification acknowledging the outage or providing an estimated restoration time.
