PKR Recovers Against Top Currencies After Election News From Azad Kashmir
The Pakistani rupee (PKR) closed in green against the US Dollar (USD) for the 215th consecutive day on Friday.
The PKR closed at 277.71 after gaining one paisa against the US Dollar today.
The rupee has consistently reported gains against the dollar since December 25, 2025.
Money markets eased following easing tensions in Azad Kashmir.
Other Currencies
PKR was stable against the UAE Dirham (AED) but lost one paisa against the Saudi Riyal (SAR).
Meanwhile, it gained 28 paisas against the British Pound (GBP) and 51 paisas against the Euro (EUR).
