PECTAA Issues New Intermediate Books

Punjab Curriculum and Textbook Board (PECTAA) has released the revised intermediate textbooks in line with the new curriculum after changes were made to eight books.
According to PECTAA officials, the intermediate books were previously being published under the 2002 syllabus. The updated books have now been prepared according to the National Curriculum of Pakistan.
PECTAA CEO Syed Musa Raza said all new books were made available in the market before the start of the new academic session so that students could get the revised curriculum books on time.
He said the curriculum changes are aimed at aligning education with modern requirements. Officials added that textbooks for classes 9 and 11 had also been revised earlier.
