PCB Announces Free Entry for National Champions Cup 2026

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced free entry for fans during the National Champions Cup 2026, which will be played at the Multan Cricket Stadium from August 11 to 18.

The seven-match 50-over List-A tournament will mark the beginning of Pakistan’s 2026-27 domestic cricket season and will feature several leading national and domestic players.

Pakistan Greens, Pakistan Whites, Pakistan Blues and Pakistan Gold will compete in a single round-robin format, with the top two teams advancing to the final on August 18.

All matches will be played as day-night fixtures and are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. local time.

The tournament will feature a number of prominent Pakistan players, including Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shadab Khan, Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, Arafat Minhas and Sufyan Moqim.

Shadab Khan will lead Pakistan Greens, Saim Ayub will captain Pakistan Whites, Sahibzada Farhan will lead Pakistan Blues, while Shaheen Shah Afridi will captain Pakistan Gold.

The PCB has introduced fixed playing XIs for all four teams, along with a 13-player reserve pool. Players from the reserve pool will only be allowed to replace those who suffer an injury or concussion during the tournament.

The 44 players named in the four teams, along with the reserve pool, have been selected as part of Pakistan’s preparations for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027.

The competition will provide national selectors with an opportunity to assess players and identify emerging talent ahead of the World Cup, which will be held in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Namibia.
