Pakistan’s IT Exports Surge 18% to $417 Million in July
Pakistan’s IT and IT-enabled exports rose 18 percent year over year to $417 million in July 2026, continuing their strong contribution to the country’s services exports, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
Technology exports accounted for around 45 percent of Pakistan’s total services exports during the month, making the sector the largest contributor among the major services categories.
Total services exports reached $927 million in July, up 27 percent from $728 million a year earlier. However, services exports declined 2 percent month over month from $942 million in June.
IT exports include earnings from freelancers, call centers, and telecom-related services.
Other Services Categories
Other business services also recorded strong growth, rising 46 percent year over year to $218 million. Travel exports jumped 138 percent to $112 million, while transport services increased 17 percent to $75 million.
Government goods and services exports rose 5 percent year over year to $68 million. Exports under the other services category declined 24 percent to $37 million.
