All three matches of the series will be played in Rawalpindi, with the remaining two fixtures scheduled for October 11 and 13.
Following the T20I series, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be joined by England for an ODI tri-series, set to take place in Rawalpindi and Lahore from October 18 to 31.
Sri Lanka will then play a three-day warm-up match in Islamabad from November 4 to 6 before facing Pakistan in a two-match Test series as part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 cycle.
The first Test will be held in Rawalpindi from November 9 to 13, followed by the second at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium from November 17 to 21.
The tour marks Sri Lanka’s first bilateral short-format series in Pakistan since 2019, when the visitors secured a 3-0 clean sweep in a three-match T20I series at Gaddafi Stadium.
Pakistan holds a slight advantage in the overall T20I head-to-head record, having won 18 of the 31 matches played between the two sides, while Sri Lanka has won 13.
