Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has imposed a ban on teachers’ transfers and postings until December 31, 2026.
The Elementary and Secondary Education Department has issued a notification enforcing the restriction.
According to the notification, the ban on postings and transfers will remain in place until the end of 2026.
However, teachers who are promoted or newly recruited will be exempt from the restriction.
Necessary postings made to activate newly established schools will also remain exempt from the ban.
