Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister, FBR Chairman Recommended for Top Civil Awards
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Chairman Rashid Mahmood Langrial have been recommended for one of Pakistan’s highest civil awards under the proposed Civil Awards 2026 list.
According to the recommendations, Ishaq Dar and Aurangzeb have been nominated for the Nishan-i-Imtiaz, while FBR Chairman Rashid Mahmood Langrial has been recommended for the Hilal-i-Imtiaz in recognition of their public service.
The proposed list also includes Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Establishment and Economic Affairs Minister Ahad Khan Cheema, and Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kayani for the Nishan-i-Imtiaz.
Among other senior government officials recommended for the Hilal-i-Imtiaz are Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan, Finance Secretary Imdadullah Bosal, and Intelligence Bureau Director General Fuad Asadullah.
The recommendations are part of the proposed Pakistan Civil Awards 2026 list and are subject to formal approval before the awards are officially conferred.
