IESCO Announces Power Outages in Islamabad, Attock, Chakwal

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a power suspension schedule for Tuesday as it carries out necessary maintenance and routine development work across its service region.

According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply in Islamabad Circle will remain suspended from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Rehara, Kurri, CM Pak Zong, Navy-1, Sowan Garden-I, Sowan Garden-II and Ali Pur feeders.

In Attock Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 5 a.m. to noon in Bahtar More, Punjab Small Industries, Kohistan Enclave, KV Kashif Gul, Model Town and Mix Industry feeders. The Fawara Chowk feeder will face suspension from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

In Chakwal Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur and CWO feeders, while Dharyala Jalip feeder will remain affected from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

In GSO Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the 132KV GSS Rawat-II power transformer T-1. The 132KV AWC HMC Taxila and 132KV Sangjani-Burhan lines will remain affected from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The 132KV Kahuta City-Palandri and 132KV New Wah-Bahtermore lines, along with the related earth switch and surrounding areas, will face suspension from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. IESCO apologized for the temporary inconvenience and said it would restore electricity earlier if teams completed the maintenance work ahead of schedule.
