Gold prices in Pakistan resumed last week’s dangerous streak after 5th consecutive increase in international prices on Monday.
Since August 5, the per tola price of gold has increased by Rs. 29,400.
The per tola rate increased by Rs. 800 to reach Rs. 457,366, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs. 685, reaching Rs. 392,091.
On Saturday, gold rose by Rs. 2,200 to Rs. 4556,536 per tola.
In the international market, gold prices gained $8 to $4,349 per ounce.
Silver prices also increased but remained below Rs. 7,000. It gained Rs. 77 to reach Rs. 6,903 per tola on Monday.
