NADRA Announces Free Executive Processing for QC-Rejected Applications
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has announced a procedure allowing applicants to resubmit identity document applications rejected during quality control (QC) without paying an additional fee.
In an official public awareness announcement, NADRA explained the steps citizens must follow if their application status changes to “QC Rejected” after submission at a NADRA Registration Centre or through the PakID mobile application.
According to the authority, applicants can visit a nearby NADRA office to complete the required formalities. Once officials complete the necessary process, NADRA will resubmit their applications under the Executive category free of charge.
The authority has also introduced a separate complaint-based procedure for overseas applicants who submitted NICOP or Pakistan Origin Card (POC) applications through PakID and live in countries without a NADRA centre.
What Does QC Rejected Mean in NADRA Applications
QC stands for Quality Control, a stage in which NADRA reviews applications before completing the identity document issuance process.
Applicants may see the status “QC Rejected” when their application does not clear this review.
NADRA’s latest announcement focuses on helping affected applicants resolve this status and continue processing their identity documents.
The authority clarified that eligible applicants can complete the required procedures and resubmit without an additional fee.
How to Resubmit a QC-Rejected NADRA Application
NADRA has provided a straightforward procedure for applicants whose identity document applications receive a QC Rejected status.
This process applies to applications submitted through NADRA offices and the PakID application.
Applicants should follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit Your Nearest NADRA Office
Citizens whose applications receive a QC Rejected status should visit any nearby NADRA office.
This applies whether they originally submitted their applications at a registration centre or through PakID.
Step 2: Complete the Required Formalities
Applicants must approach the relevant officials and complete the necessary procedures for resolving their rejected applications.
NADRA will review the case and carry out the required processing before resubmitting the application.
Step 3: Get Your Application Resubmitted for Free
After completing the necessary formalities, NADRA will resubmit the eligible application under the Executive category.
Applicants will not have to pay an additional fee for this resubmission.
The authority has confirmed that the new application will receive Executive-category processing.
How Overseas Pakistanis Can Resolve QC-Rejected Applications
NADRA has also shared a separate procedure for overseas applicants who cannot visit a NADRA Registration Centre.
This option applies specifically to individuals who submitted NICOP or Pakistan Origin Card (POC) applications through PakID and currently reside in countries where no NADRA centre is available.
Step 1: Visit NADRA’s Complaint Portal
Affected applicants should open NADRA’s official complaint management website at:
https://complaints.nadra.gov.pk
Step 2: Submit a Complaint
Applicants should register a complaint regarding the QC Rejected status of their NICOP or POC application.
They must follow the instructions on the complaint portal and provide the information requested for their case.
Step 3: Complete the Required Processing
After receiving the complaint, NADRA will carry out the necessary procedures to address the rejected application.
The applicant must complete any required formalities communicated by the authority.
Step 4: Check the PakID Application Section
Once NADRA completes the required process, a new application will appear in the “Applications” section of the applicant’s PakID account.
The applicant can access this section to view the new application.
Step 5: Receive Free Executive-Category Processing
NADRA will process the new application under the Executive category without charging an additional fee.
This arrangement allows eligible overseas applicants to resolve QC rejection without visiting a NADRA centre in another country.
