KP Cancels Appointments of 35 Female Teachers Over Fake Documents
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Education Department has canceled the appointments of 35 female primary school teachers in Dera Ismail Khan after declaring their appointment letters fake.
The department has also ordered the recovery of all salaries paid to them.
According to a notification issued by District Education Officer Syeda Anjum, the department could not verify the teachers’ appointment and service records or their places of posting. Their appointment orders have consequently been declared invalid from the date they were issued.
The department alleged that the women had obtained government jobs using fake appointment letters. Authorities have been directed to compile a complete record of the salaries paid to them, recover the money, and deposit it into the government treasury.
The notification also directed officials to initiate proceedings for the registration of cases against the teachers, with further legal action expected over the disputed appointments and payment of public funds.
