Gold prices in Pakistan suddenly skyrocketed on Friday following a similar trend observed in international gold prices.
The price of 24-karat gold closed at Rs. 460,336 per tola after gaining Rs. 6,900, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 10 gram gold settled at Rs. 394,663 after gaining Rs. 5,914.
Gold lost Rs. 3,800 on Thursday to close at Rs. 453,436.
In the international market, gold gained $69 to settle at $4,378 per ounce, including a $20 premium.
Meanwhile, silver settled at Rs. 7,169 per tola after gaining Rs. 300 on Friday.
