Fly Jinnah has officially launched regular flights from Karachi to Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.
The first flight departed from Karachi on Friday night carrying 146 passengers. A small inauguration ceremony was held at the Karachi airport lounge before departure, where a cake was also cut.
Officials from the Pakistan Airports Authority, Civil Aviation Authority, Airport Security Force and other relevant institutions attended the ceremony.
Fly Jinnah is already operating on several international routes, including flights to Jeddah and Dammam in Saudi Arabia.
According to Fly Jinnah officials, the direct air link between Karachi and Riyadh will make travel easier for Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia and further strengthen air connectivity between the two cities.
