Easypaisa has rejected reports claiming that it has introduced a 2 percent service charge on bank-to-wallet transfers, calling the information false and misleading.
A close source at Easypaisa told ProPakistani that customers will continue to receive money into their Easypaisa accounts without any charges.
Transfers made into Easypaisa wallets remain free, and there has been no introduction of a 2 percent fee on incoming bank-to-wallet transactions.
This comes after claims on social media circulated that Easypaisa had started charging customers 2 percent when transferring funds from bank accounts to Easypaisa wallets.
The reported fee does not apply to money transferred into its wallets.
Customers should verify pricing and fee-related information through Easypaisa’s official channels before sharing or acting on such claims, sources added.
