Rector of the National University of Technology (NUTECH), Lt Gen (Retd) Moazzam Ejaz, has been recommended for the Hilal-i-Imtiaz in the Education (Administration) category under the proposed Pakistan Civil Awards 2026.
The proposed honours list also includes transplant surgeon Prof. Faisal Saud Dar for the Hilal-i-Imtiaz in medicine, veteran television producer Sultana Siddiqi for the Hilal-i-Imtiaz in arts, and poets Ejaz Rahim and Muhammad Khurshid Ul Hasan Rizvi for the Hilal-i-Imtiaz in literature.
Other prominent education-sector personalities recommended for civil awards include Prof. Dr. Muhammad Raza Shah, Prof. Dr. Khalid Masood Gondal, Dr. Rashid Amjad, and Dr. Zafar Iqbal Qadir, all of whom have been nominated for the Sitara-i-Imtiaz.
