HMD has officially launched the Nokia 300 Charge, a new feature phone designed for users who want long battery life and basic connectivity. Its biggest highlight is a 3,700mAh removable battery that can also be used to charge other devices.
The battery is considerably larger than what is typically found in basic feature phones.
Design and Display
The Nokia 300 Charge has a compact, textured body designed to provide a more rugged feel. It measures 136.55 × 55 × 14.94mm and weighs 138 grams.
It features a 2.4-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 240 × 320 pixels. The phone comes in Green and Sandstone colors.
Despite its rugged-looking exterior, the handset does not have an official IP rating for water or dust resistance.
HMD has also equipped the phone with a high-powered LED flashlight positioned on the top. According to the company, it can be up to four times brighter than the flashlight found on the Nokia 105 (2023).
Internals and Software
The Nokia 300 Charge is powered by the Unisoc SC6531E chipset and comes with 4MB of RAM and 4MB of internal storage.
Storage can be expanded through a microSD card with support for cards of up to 32GB.
The phone runs HMD’s S30+ operating system and includes a 3.5mm headphone jack, one speaker and one microphone.
Connectivity is limited to 2G GSM networks. The phone supports the 900MHz and 1800MHz bands and comes with dual Mini-SIM support.
Cameras
The Nokia 300 Charge has a basic QVGA rear camera. HMD is positioning the phone primarily around battery life, calling and basic everyday functions rather than photography.

HMD claims the Nokia 300 Charge can deliver more than 40 days of standby time and up to 37.9 hours of talk time under its testing conditions.
The battery supports 10W charging through USB-C. It also supports 10W reverse wired charging, allowing the phone to act as a portable power bank.
A dedicated power-out button makes it easier to activate the reverse charging feature for compatible devices such as phones and earphones.
Prices currently start at around $35, although the final price varies depending on the retailer and market.
