Our favorite OLED TV for most people just keeps getting cheaper. We’re inching closer to Labor Day, so it makes sense that TV prices are plummeting, but I wasn’t expecting this LG TV to drop even further.
As of Aug. 28, the LG 65-inch C6 OLED 4K TV is down to just $1,499.99 at Amazon. That’s 44% off its list price of $2,699.99, and another $200 price drop since last week, when it hit an all-time low. But in case that’s not enough of a reason to grab it, you’ll also get a free $150 Amazon credit with your purchase to sweeten the deal.
OLED TVs are notoriously expensive, but the C6 is already what we’d call the “best affordable OLED TV,” compared to competitors’ prices. With this price drop, it’s an outstanding value. It also improves on its predecessor in ways that count: higher peak brightness, more vibrant colors, better audio, and a higher refresh rate (165Hz vs. 144Hz).
