Sindh to Use AI for Hiring Under Public Service Commission

Sindh has decided to introduce artificial intelligence into the recruitment and examination system of the Sindh Public Service Commission, with the provincial government planning to use the technology to make exams more efficient and reduce unnecessary human intervention.

The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by Sindh Chief Secretary Asif Haider Shah, where officials discussed using AI and other modern technologies across the public service examination process.

AI will be used in preparing question papers, assessment and examination data management, according to the chief secretary.

The government expects the technology to improve the efficiency of the examination process while reducing unnecessary human involvement.

The province will also establish technology equipped workstations across Sindh, providing candidates with access to modern examination facilities.

The government plans to expand the use of AI beyond the Public Service Commission in later stages. According to the chief secretary, the technology will also be introduced in educational boards, other examinations and recruitment processes across the province.
