Sindh’s colleges department has decided to issue show-cause notices to all absentee teachers in government colleges across the province.
Colleges Secretary Nadeem Memon chaired a meeting to review attendance among college staff across Sindh.
During the briefing, officials were informed that a large number of employees in the education department were absent from duty in different parts of the province.
The meeting also reviewed the full activation of the biometric attendance system to improve transparency and ensure regular attendance.
The college’s secretary directed strict action against absent employees across all provincial educational institutions, in line with service rules.
