The Punjab School Education Department has announced multiple jobs under the Program Monitoring and Implementation Unit. A total of 13 positions are available for qualified and experienced candidates.
The jobs are part of an ADB-funded education program. The program aims to improve secondary education in Punjab. It will focus on STEM education, school facilities, gender inclusion, and climate resilience.
Available Jobs
The department has announced vacancies for Digital Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist and STEM or STEAM Specialist. One post is available for each position.
One post is also available for Procurement and Contracts Management Specialist. The department has announced another vacancy for Capacity Development Specialist.
Other jobs include IT Specialist and Environment and Climate Specialist. One vacancy is available for each post. The department is also hiring a Social Safeguard Specialist and a Gender Specialist. Both positions are available at PPS 10 level.
Two vacancies are available for Technical Coordinator at PPS 09 level. One post each is available for Database Analyst and Admin Officer at PPS 08 level.
The department has also announced one vacancy for Procurement Assistant at PPS 07 level.
Qualification and Experience
Most specialist positions require a Master’s degree or 16 years of education in a relevant field. Candidates also need relevant professional experience.
Most PPS 10 positions require at least five years of experience. Some jobs also require experience in donor-funded projects.
The Technical Coordinator position requires at least four years of relevant experience. The maximum age limit is 45 years.
The Database Analyst and Admin Officer positions require at least three years of experience. The maximum age limit for both posts is 45 years.
The Procurement Assistant position also requires at least three years of relevant experience. The maximum age limit is 40 years. The maximum age limit for most PPS 10 specialist positions is 50 years.
