Rawalpindi, Chakwal to Face Scheduled Power Outages
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in parts of Rawalpindi and Chakwal on Tuesday due to routine maintenance and development work.
According to the power utility, electricity will remain suspended from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on the Jarar Camp, Bhall, Jatha Hathial, Basali, and Kambeli Sadiq feeders in the Rawalpindi Cantt Circle. In Chakwal Circle, the outage will affect the Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Saghar Pur, and CWO feeders during the same hours.
IESCO also announced maintenance work on several grid stations under the GSO Circle. As a result, power supply may remain affected in surrounding areas during scheduled work on the 132kV Rawat-II, AWC HMC Taxila, Sangjani-Burhan, Kahuta City-Palandri, and New Wah-Bahtermore transmission lines and related equipment.
The company apologized for the temporary inconvenience and said electricity would be restored before the scheduled time if maintenance work is completed early.
