Punjab Launches Next Phase of Honhaar Scholarship Program

The Punjab government has opened applications the next phase of the Honhaar Scholarship Program, allowing eligible students at selected universities and colleges to apply for financial support. The deadline for submitting online applications is November 9, 2026.

Announcing the new cycle, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz said the program had supported 160,000 students and provided opportunities across 70 disciplines. She urged students to continue their education and take advantage of the latest round.

The new phase covers both students beginning their degrees in Fall 2026 and those already studying in eligible public-sector institutions. However, the institution, income, and academic requirements differ between the two categories.

Who Can Apply?

Students must be enrolled in selected disciplines at participating public-sector universities and colleges, public medical and dental colleges, HED colleges, or partner federal and private higher education institutions.
