Petrol Gets Cheaper But Diesel More Expensive in Pakistan

The federal government on Tuesday decided to change the prices of both motor spirit (MS) petrol and high-speed diesel (HSD) for the next 24 hours.

The price of petrol has been decreased by Rs. 1.7 to Rs. 325.92 per litre, but diesel more expensive by Rs. 1.39 to Rs. 382.25 per litre.

On Monday, the price of petrol was kept unchanged at Rs. 327.62 per litre, while the diesel rate was kept at last week’s level of Rs. 380.86 per litre.

Since the beginning of the daily fuel rates update, petrol has gone up by Rs. 14.52/litre and diesel by Rs. 56.14/litre.
