The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has warned Pakistanis, particularly those living abroad, against unauthorized websites using the authority’s name to offer NADRA-related services.
NADRA said citizens should avoid using fake websites and portals that claim to provide services on its behalf. The authority advised users not to enter or share personal information, passport details, fingerprint information or payment-related details on such websites.
NADRA has identified several unauthorized websites circulating online, including platforms using names associated with NADRA Card Center, NADRA Online Card and other similar services.
The authority urged citizens to use only official NADRA platforms when accessing its services and to remain cautious about websites that misuse NADRA’s name or branding.
NADRA also advised citizens who have already provided personal information to an unauthorized website to immediately inform the relevant local cybercrime authorities and take steps to protect their personal information.
The authority has asked Pakistanis to verify websites before submitting any personal or financial information and warned them against falling victim to fraudulent platforms operating under NADRA’s name.
