The National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP) has launched the “Be Our Eyes” Awareness Campaign to facilitate passengers, strengthen the complaint mechanism, and ensure safe and secure travel on highways and motorways.
According to NHMP Central Region Spokesperson Syed Imran Ahmad, complaint QR code stickers have been displayed on public service vehicles and at their terminals.
Passengers can scan the QR code to report complaints regarding overloading, overcharging, dangerous driving, misbehavior, and other traffic violations directly to the Motorway Police.
The spokesperson said that an easy, effective, and direct complaint mechanism has been introduced through the QR code system. The initiative will help ensure that passengers’ concerns reach the relevant authorities promptly and will further strengthen accountability of irresponsible drivers and transporters.
Syed Imran Ahmad urged passengers to actively cooperate with the Motorway Police by reporting traffic violations and unsafe practices through the QR code system so that timely action can be taken. Passengers can also contact the Motorway Police Helpline 130 for complaints, guidance, and assistance.
