Lenovo has unveiled the Yoga Tab Gen 2 and Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 at IFA 2026, targeting users looking for premium Android tablets for productivity and creative work.
The two tablets combine high-end hardware with one of Lenovo’s longest software support commitments, including seven major Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.
Lenovo Yoga Tab Gen 2
The Lenovo Yoga Tab Gen 2 features an 11.1-inch 4K display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,100 nits of peak brightness.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset and comes with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM.
Storage options include 128GB and 256GB, with support for expandable storage.
The tablet packs an 11,000mAh battery and supports 68W charging.
It measures 8.56mm thick and weighs 480 grams.
Lenovo Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2
The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 features a larger 13-inch 4K PureSight Pro display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,100 nits of peak brightness.
It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite platform with an Oryon CPU.
Lenovo offers the tablet with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of expandable storage.
The tablet packs a 12,700mAh battery with support for 68W charging.
It also includes six speakers, a 13MP + 2MP rear camera setup, and an 8MP + 0.3MP front camera combination.
Connectivity and Accessories
Both tablets support Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 connectivity.
Lenovo will also offer optional magnetic keyboards and its Tab Pen Pro 2 stylus.
The tablets include AI-focused software features and stylus functions designed for drawing, recording and productivity.
A status light on the back can also react to music, videos and games.
Seven Years of Software Support
The biggest software feature is Lenovo’s promise of seven major Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.
Both tablets ship with Android 17 and are expected to receive updates through Android 24.
Security support will continue until 2033.

The Lenovo Yoga Tab Gen 2 starts at $729.
The Yoga Tab Plus Gen 2 starts at $999.
Both tablets are scheduled to go on sale this month.
