Kia to Reportedly Launch New Picanto in Pakistan
Kia is reportedly considering the launch of its latest Picanto in Pakistan, with Lucky Motor Corporation potentially bringing the new generation of the hatchback to the local market within the next month.
According to a report by automotive expert Suneel Munj, Lucky Motor is preparing to introduce the latest Picanto in Pakistan, although the company has not officially confirmed the plan or provided a launch date.
The current Picanto has been discontinued after six years, but that does NOT mean the nameplate is disappearing from Pakistan.

The development comes after Lucky Motor discontinued the current Picanto following six years in the Pakistani market. The 1,000cc hatchback has been removed from Kia Pakistan’s website, while the company has permanently closed new bookings for the model.
Kia first launched the Picanto in Pakistan in September 2019. The hatchback remained part of the company’s local lineup for six years before Lucky Motor ended its production and sales.
Munj said that the discontinuation of the current model does not mean Kia will remove the Picanto nameplate from Pakistan. Instead, Lucky Motor is preparing to bring the newer version of the popular hatchback to the country. Lucky Motor has yet to announce details about the new Picanto’s specifications, pricing, assembly status or exact launch date.
