Google has launched Gemini 3.7 Flash, only around three weeks after introducing Gemini 3.6 Flash. The new model focuses on stronger software engineering, web development, knowledge work, and agentic tasks while maintaining the speed expected from Google’s Flash lineup.

Google says the model incorporates developer feedback and algorithmic improvements that could also influence future Gemini models.

Big Improvements in Coding

Gemini 3.7 Flash shows significant gains in software engineering and debugging.

On the DeepSWE v1.1 benchmark for long-horizon software engineering, it scores 65.3%, compared with 48.6% for Gemini 3.6 Flash. FrontierCode 1.1 Main also improves from 34.4% to 43.6%.

Google says the model is better at handling roadblocks, following instructions, and executing multi-step plans with less manual intervention.

Better at Building Websites and Apps

Web development is another major focus. Gemini 3.7 Flash can generate more complete and functional applications with fewer prompts while following reference designs more closely.

Its Code Arena web development score rises from 1,538 Elo for Gemini 3.6 Flash to 1,588 Elo. Google also says the model can closely reproduce interfaces from screenshots, images, and complete design systems.

Stronger Knowledge and Business Work

Google has also improved performance in knowledge-heavy fields such as finance, law, and biosciences.

Gemini 3.7 Flash scores 34.0% on the GDP.pdf benchmark for understanding complex PDF documents, up from 22.0% for its predecessor. AutomationBench performance rises from 17.0% to 30.4%, indicating stronger performance on real-world business workflows.

Google has also updated safeguards around chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear risks and cyber misuse, continuing the safety approach used with its recent Flash models.

Much Cheaper Introductory Pricing

Gemini 3.7 Flash is priced at $0.75 per million input tokens and $3.75 per million output tokens until December 31, 2026. From January 1, 2027, pricing will increase to $1.50 and $7.50, respectively.

The model is available through the Gemini app, Google AI Studio, Gemini API, Google Antigravity, Gemini Enterprise app and Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.
