Gold Rate Up by Rs. 32,000 in Just 6 Days
Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a 6th consecutive increase after another jump in international prices on Tuesday.
Since August 5, the per tola price of gold has increased by Rs. 31,800.
The per tola rate increased by Rs. 2,400 to reach Rs. 459,736, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 10-gram gold also increased by Rs. 2,050, reaching Rs. 394,149.
On Monday, gold rose by Rs. 800 to Rs. 457,366 per tola.
In the international market, gold prices gained $24 to $4,373 per ounce.
Silver prices also increased but remained below Rs. 7,000. It gained Rs. 62 to reach Rs. 6,965 per tola on Tuesday.
