The Punjab Education Curriculum, Training and Assessment Authority (PECTAA) has announced the date sheet for the first-term School-Based Assessment (SBA) 2026-27 for students from Grades 1 to 8.
The assessments will begin on September 18, 2026, and continue until September 30, 2026, according to the date sheet.
Students will take their assessments in two shifts. The morning shift will run from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., while the afternoon shift will run from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. On Fridays, the afternoon shift will run from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The schedule covers subjects including English, Urdu, Mathematics, Science, General Knowledge, Islamiyat/Ethics, Nazra Quran, Social Studies, Computer/Arabic, History and Geography, Tarjuma-tul-Quran-ul-Majeed, Tajveedi Qaida and optional subjects.
The first assessment will take place on September 18, with different subjects scheduled for each grade. The date sheet will conclude on September 30, when Grades 4 to 8 will take their respective final assessments of the first-term schedule.
