SZABMU Releases MDCAT Answer Key 2026

The Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University (SZABMU) has released the official MDCAT 2026 answer key for the test held on September 20, 2026.

The university issued the answer key on the night of September 20, shortly after the examination ended. Candidates can now compare their responses with the official key and estimate their expected MDCAT scores.

SZABMU registered 5,964 candidates for MDCAT 2026. Of these, 1,245 candidates took the test in Islamabad, 2,761 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, 1,721 in Gilgit-Baltistan, and 237 at the international centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The university released the MDCAT 2026 seating plan on September 18, giving candidates details of their assigned examination centres ahead of the test. PM&DC also confirmed special examination arrangements in Islamabad for candidates from AJK.

The MDCAT started at 10:00 AM on September 20 and continued for three hours. The paper contained 180 multiple-choice questions, with separate question papers prepared under the examination framework.

Candidates can download the official SZABMU MDCAT 2026 answer key from the university’s admission portal.

After opening the MDCAT 2026 paper key, students should select the key that matches the code printed on their question paper. SZABMU has provided separate answer keys for Code 1, Code 2, Code 3 and Code 4.

Candidates should keep their carbon-copy response sheet ready while checking the answers. They can compare each marked response with the relevant key and count the correct answers to calculate their expected score.

SZABMU has issued answer keys for four paper versions: Code 1, Code 2, Code 3 and Code 4.

The code printed on the candidate’s question paper determines which answer key should be used. The answer sequence varies between the different versions, so candidates should verify the code before checking their responses.
