Matric Exams Postponed in KP District

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Swat has postponed its 2026 matriculation examinations until further notice, affecting students in Swat, Shangla, and other areas under its jurisdiction.

The announcement was made on Sunday, October 11, a day before the papers were due to begin. The board will announce replacement dates and issue a revised date sheet later. Students have been advised to wait for official instructions regarding the new schedule.

The latest decision follows an earlier change to the SSC Annual-II examination timetable. Papers originally scheduled for October 7, 8, 9, and 10 had already been postponed, with examinations expected to begin on October 12 under the previously issued date sheet.

That plan has now been put on hold following the fresh announcement. No replacement starting date was included in the latest report.

Candidates should follow the board’s official updates for confirmation of when their papers will take place and the revised examination timetable.
