Internet Starts Recovering in More Areas Across Azad Kashmir

Internet services continue to be restored in phases across different districts of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, with complete DSL and mobile internet access permitted in some areas while 3G and 4G services remain suspended in several others.

The district-wise arrangement allows broader connectivity in Neelum, Bhimber and Mirpur but maintains restrictions across parts of the Muzaffarabad, Poonch and Mirpur divisions.

In the Muzaffarabad Division, DSL and 3G/4G services will remain fully operational in Upper and Lower Neelum, where no change has been made to the existing arrangement. DSL service has been restored throughout Muzaffarabad district, but 3G and 4G mobile internet will remain unavailable.

DSL service has also been restored across Jhelum Valley district, while mobile data services will remain suspended. Leepa Valley is exempt from these restrictions, with DSL as well as 3G and 4G services continuing without interruption.

Internet services will remain suspended across Rawalakot and Sudhnoti districts, except for DSL connections at CMH Rawalakot, MTBC Hospital Abbaspur, the Assistant Commissioner’s Office in Abbaspur and Dell Medx Online Billing Company. In Bagh district, DSL has been restored only in the urban areas of Bagh city, Dhirkot, Nomanpura and Harighel, while Haveli Kahuta district will have DSL connectivity but no 3G or 4G service until the next review.

In Kotli district, DSL access has been permitted only for educational institutions, banks, civil administration, police and army offices, excluding Sehnsa, Sarsawa, Baloch and Tattapani. All other internet services in the district will remain restricted. Bhimber and Mirpur districts, however, will continue to have fully operational DSL and 3G/4G mobile internet services across all areas.
