Bawany Air Products Raises Authorized Capital To Rs. 12.1 Billion
Bawany Air Products Limited has increased its authorized share capital by Rs. 1.1 billion to Rs. 12.1 billion from Rs. 11 billion, following approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, according to a notice issued to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Monday.
The company said it had filed the relevant Form 7 with the SECP for the increase in authorized capital. The notice was signed by the company secretary and dated September 14, 2026.
The company was originally engaged in the production and trading of oxygen, dissolved acetylene and nitrogen gas, but suspended those operations in 2013 following a major plant breakdown.
In recent years, the company has changed its principal line of business toward investing in and dealing in shares, stocks, debentures, bonds and other securities.
It has also pursued a broader restructuring and revival strategy, including efforts to acquire Alman Seyyam Sugar Mills through the issuance of new shares.
