The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA International) has opened admissions for its professional accounting programs.
Students waiting for their examination results can also apply. The institute is offering different entry routes for Intermediate, graduation, and master’s degree holders.
Candidates with Intermediate, A-Level, Pre-Engineering, Pre-Medical, Computer Science, I.Com, or Arts qualifications can enter the program through the Intermediate route. The expected qualification duration for this route is four years.
Graduates with qualifications such as B.Com, BA, ADC, ADP, MA, or MSc can complete the qualification through a 2.5-year route.
Applicants with BBA, BS Accounting and Finance, or MBA qualifications can use the master’s entry route, which has a duration of two years.
Students can progress through different professional stages, including Affiliate Financial Accountant (AFA), Chartered Management Accountant (CMA), Associate Cost and Management Accountant (ACMA), and Fellow Cost and Management Accountant (FCMA).
ICMA has also announced merit-based scholarships and other financial support for eligible students. Position holders from Intermediate, A-Level, bachelor’s, or master’s programs can receive a 100% scholarship.
Candidates with 85% or higher marks can receive a 75% scholarship, while students with 75% or higher marks can qualify for a 50% scholarship.
A 25% special discount is also available for Hafiz-e-Quran students. Kinship-based and need-based financial assistance is also available.
The qualification carries HEC equivalence to a master’s degree, according to the admission announcement.
ICMA has campuses in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta, Hyderabad, and Sukkur. Interested students can register through ICMA International’s official admission system.
