HEC Shares Lists of Recognized and Unrecognized Institutions
The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has shared official lists of recognized and unrecognized institutions, urging students and parents to verify universities and campuses before applying for admission.
According to the advisory, HEC will not recognize degrees from institutions that do not appear on its recognized lists.
The commission also advised students to avoid universities and degree-awarding institutions that face admission bans due to irregularities.

How to Check an Institution’s Status
HEC has directed students to four separate lists covering universities, campuses, transnational education providers, and illegal or fake institutions.
