The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore has released the 12th Class Result Gazette 2026 for the Intermediate Part-I & II First Annual Examination.
According to the official gazette, 192,950 candidates applied for the examination, while 189,373 appeared. A total of 123,060 candidates passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 64.98%.
The examination started on May 20, 2026. Theory papers concluded on July 8, while practical examinations ended on August 19. The board announced the result on September 23, 2026.
The result covers candidates from Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura, and Nankana Sahib districts.

Female Candidates Record 74.96% Pass Rate
Female candidates recorded a higher overall pass percentage than male candidates.
A total of 108,851 female candidates appeared, while 81,590 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 74.96%.
Among male candidates, 80,091 appeared and 41,247 passed. Their pass percentage stood at 51.50%.

Pre-Medical Records Highest Major Group Pass Rate
Among the main Intermediate groups, Pre-Medical recorded the highest pass percentage at 83.28%.
A total of 39,477 Pre-Medical candidates appeared, and 32,878 passed.
Pre-Engineering recorded a 79.23% pass rate, followed by Commerce at 67.24%, General Science at 63.20%, and Humanities and Other groups at 53.33%.

BISE Lahore manages Intermediate examinations across Lahore, Kasur, Sheikhupura and Nankana Sahib.
Nankana Sahib recorded a 71.15% pass percentage, with 8,028 candidates passing out of 11,283 who appeared.
Sheikhupura recorded 67.92%, followed by Lahore at 64.04% and Kasur at 63.02%.

Two candidates jointly secured the overall first position with 1,158 marks out of 1,200.

The second position was also shared. Muhammad Ahmad Shoukat and Muhammad Zunair Amjad secured 1,157 marks each.
Ayesha Bakhsh stood third with 1,156 marks.
