Electronics Worth a Multan DHA Plot Seized At Karachi Airport
Pakistan Customs officials have seized undeclared electronics worth Rs. 5.5 million from a passenger arriving from Dubai at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, uncovering a large quantity of cameras, one Sony PlayStation 5 and fitness bands in his baggage.

The passenger was intercepted by Customs officials at the international arrivals area. An X-ray examination indicated the presence of high-end electronic items. He was directed to the Red Channel for detailed inspection.
A detailed inspection uncovered 29 cameras, including six Sony cameras, one Nikon camera and three Canon DSLRs, along with 19 other digital cameras and a gaming console. Customs officials also recovered five camera lenses and 10 fitness bands.
Several other assorted electronic items were also found in the passenger’s baggage. According to Customs, none of the recovered goods had been declared by the passenger.
The seized items have been detained under the relevant provisions of the Customs Act, 1969, while a case has been registered and further legal proceedings are underway.
