Electric Bus Driver Takes Mobile Snatcher to Police Station Along with Rest of Passengers
A Green Bus driver in Renala Khurd took the entire bus and its passengers to a police station after a passenger’s mobile phone was allegedly stolen during the journey.
According to reports, the driver immediately closed the bus doors after being informed about the theft and did not allow any passenger to leave.
He then drove the bus to Sadar Police Station, where police questioned the passengers and searched them for the missing phone.
Police recovered the stolen mobile phone during the search and arrested the passenger allegedly involved in the theft. Legal proceedings against the suspect are underway.
A video and reports of the incident later circulated on social media, with users praising the driver for his quick thinking and responsible handling of the situation.
Several users also called for the driver and conductor to be rewarded for ensuring that the alleged thief could not escape before police arrived.
