Customs Seizes Smuggled Items Worth Rs. 9 Crore in Quetta
Customs authorities have foiled a massive smuggling attempt at Ziarat Cross, recovering goods worth approximately Rs. 90 million from a passenger bus.
So a base Honda City 2026 costs Rs. 4,737,000 in Pakistan. By that logic, Customs seized items worth roughly 20 Honda City cars in one swoop.
According to the Customs Department spokesperson, officials seized 122 kilograms of silver valued at Rs. 73.2 million during the operation.
The authorities also recovered 277 used smartphones and five tablets, with the electronic devices valued at approximately Rs. 16.2 million.
The combined value of the seized silver and electronic devices was reported at approximately Rs. 90 million.
The operation was conducted at Ziarat Cross after customs officials intercepted the passenger bus. The authorities seized the goods and prevented the smuggling attempt.
