CDA Officers’ Children Get 50% Discount on Monthly School Fees
Children of Capital Development Authority (CDA) employees will receive major fee concessions at the Global System of Integrated Studies (GSIS) under a new agreement, reported Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
The CDA Officers Association and Global System of Integrated Studies (Pvt) Ltd signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) this week to provide education-related benefits to CDA employees and their families.
Under the agreement, GSIS will waive one-time admission fees and refundable security deposits for children of regular CDA employees.
Students will also receive a 50 percent discount on monthly tuition fees, allowing them to study at half the regular tuition cost. They will also receive priority during admissions and preference on the waiting list over applicants from the general public.
They will also have access to the institution’s academic facilities, co-curricular activities and student development programs on the same basis as regular fee-paying students.
CDA Officers Association General Secretary Chaudhary Kamran Bakht said the agreement would help reduce the financial burden on employees.
CDA Member Estate Muhammad Zaman Watto termed the agreement an important welfare initiative for CDA employees and their families.
GSIS Principal and Director Administration Quratulain Ali Rizvi said the institution would make efforts to ensure the agreement is implemented effectively.
