The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Dera Ghazi Khan, has released the official 9th Class Result Gazette 2026. The SSC Part-I result was announced on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
According to the gazette, 106,001 candidates appeared in the first annual examination. Of these, 51,081 passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 48.18%.
The board conducted the Class 9 written examinations from April 17 to May 8, 2026. The result covers regular and private candidates from Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh, Layyah, Rajanpur, Kot Addu and Taunsa.
The 1,311-page gazette contains individual results and school-wise performance records. Students, parents and teachers can use it to check results when the board’s website is slow or unavailable.

The overall pass rate fell from 57.34% in 2025 to 48.18% in 2026. This represents a decrease of 9.16 percentage points.

Regular and Private Candidates’ Results
A total of 79,924 regular candidates appeared in the examination. Of these, 40,931 passed, producing a pass percentage of 51.21%.
The examination also included 26,077 private candidates. A total of 10,150 private candidates passed, with a success rate of 38.92%.

Male and Female Students’ Performance
Female candidates achieved a higher pass rate than male candidates in the BISE DG Khan 9th Class Result 2026.
The gazette shows that 49,348 female students appeared and 27,731 passed. Their overall pass percentage stood at 56.19%.
Among male students, 56,653 appeared, and 23,350 passed. Their success rate was 41.22%.

District-Wise BISE DG Khan Result 2026
Muzaffargarh recorded the highest pass percentage among the six areas covered by BISE DG Khan. A total of 27,076 candidates appeared from the district, while 15,161 passed, producing a success rate of 55.99%.
Taunsa followed with a pass rate of 53.67%, while Kot Addu recorded 50.29%. Layyah achieved a pass percentage of 48.61%.
Dera Ghazi Khan district recorded a pass rate of 40.78%. Rajanpur had the lowest percentage at 35.07%.

In the regular Science Group, 72,926 students appeared and 38,664 passed. The group recorded a pass percentage of 53.01%.
The regular Humanities Group recorded a pass rate of 25.46%, while the Health Science Group achieved 46.53%. The Agriculture Science, Computer Science and Fashion Designing groups recorded pass percentages of 40%, 39.37% and 20.82%, respectively.
Among private candidates, the Science Group recorded a pass rate of 40.28%. The Humanities Group achieved 17.99%, while the private Computer Science Group recorded 22.22%.
