Askari Bank has been recognised as the Best Mid-Sized Bank at the 11th Pakistan Banking Awards 2026, held in Karachi. The award was jointly presented to Askari Bank and Faysal Bank in the mid-sized category.
The award was received by Askari Bank’s President and CEO, Zia Ijaz, from the Governor of the State Bank of Pakistan, Jameel Ahmad, at a ceremony that brought together leading names from the country’s banking and financial services sector.
Organised by the Pakistan Banks Association, the Pakistan Banking Awards are considered among the industry’s most significant recognitions, honouring institutions that have shown excellence, innovation and measurable impact across the financial services landscape.
